For our clients of companies holding concessions for trading in electricity, we offer training conducted in the form of practical workshops on concession obligations. As part of the workshop, we present how to fulfill the obligations associated with holding a license to trade in electricity to the President of the Energy Regulatory Office and other authorities.
The training is a workshop in which we will work together with you on sample documents used by the Energy Regulatory Office, Towarowa Giełda Energii, ARE, GUS, Customs Office or Ministry of Energy.
During the training we will present, among other things:
- the scope of concession obligations to the President of the Energy Regulatory Authority,
- the scope of duties of the excise tax payer,
- the methodology of calculating the concession fee and practical problems related to its payment,
- the annual obligation to redeem the corresponding certificates of origin (the so-called “colored certificates” – currently green, red, yellow, purple, white) or pay the substitution fee),
- clarification of the obligation to register and obtain the so-called ACER Code and report transaction data in accordance with the REMIT regulation,
- obligation to submit data and information upon written request from the President of the ERO,
- scope of statistical obligations to the CSO,
- practical problems with recordkeeping obligations for electricity consumption.
- Workshops are conducted in the form of practical case-studies, using the current reporting/declaration templates, and are tailored individually to the client’s profile. We also offer to conduct workshops at the headquarters of your Company. As part of the conducted training, you will also receive a full list of duties with deadlines and how to perform them.
The legal advisor conducting the workshop, Kacper Skalski, partner in Raczynski Skalski & Partners sp.p. law firm, has many years of experience in providing services to companies in the energy sector, in particular to the largest companies involved in electricity trading.
