We are proud to announce that Kamil Ciupka, a member of our financial law and FinTech market team, took first place in the master’s thesis category in the 12th edition of the Competition for the best theses for the President of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Award.
The aim of the competition was to select the best theses on the capital market by a specially appointed jury. It is worth noting that this year’s edition was a record-breaking one, with a total of 110 theses submitted, including 62 in the master’s category alone.
The topic of Kamil’s award-winning thesis was ‘Between a financial instrument and a means of payment. Crypto-assets in the light of Regulation 2023/1114’. The thesis was defended at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow under the supervision of Dr Krzysztof Oplustil, Prof. Jagiellonian University.
