Expert in the law regulating the operations of institutions in the financial sector, including banking and “fin-tech” industry. Responsible for coordinating work of the team assigned to banking law and financial institutions, and for the team specializing in commercial companies law. Maciej Raczyński has many years of experience in the field of legal advisory services for financial institutions (including the largest Polish financial intermediaries, loan firms, branches of credit institutions and issuers of private bonds), as well as legal advisory services within the scope of the Commercial Companies Law (establishment and transformation, corporate disputes, including corporate disputes of public companies), and investments in “start-ups.”
In recent years, his work included in particular:
– provision of legal services to domestic and foreign financial and insurance institutions, including, among others, establishment of a new entity in the Polish credit brokerage market, and subsequent merger of this entity with one of the largest firms in this sector,
- legal counseling in the establishment of over one hundred new commercial partnerships and companies,
- preparing and coordination of the issuance of private bonds with a total value in excess of PLN 5 million,
- representation of Clients in corporate disputes with shareholders (including shareholders of public companies).
In the past he practiced volleyball for some years. His passion for volleyball equals the one for football, and so he provides legal support for athletes and management agencies. He also competes in amateur MTB bicycle marathons.
