For our clients, companies holding concessions for trading in natural gas (OPG), as well as concessions for trading in natural gas with foreign countries (OGZ), we offer training conducted in the form of practical workshops on concession obligations. As part of the workshop, we present how to fulfill the obligations associated with holding a concession for trading in gaseous fuels (OPG) and a concession for trading in natural gas with foreign countries (OGZ) to the President of the Energy Regulatory Office and other authorities.
The training on OPG and OGZ obligations has a workshop character, where we will work together with you on model documents used by the Energy Regulatory Office, Towarowa Giełda Energii, ARE, GUS, Customs and Fiscal Office or the Ministry of Energy.
During the training we will present, among other things:
- The scope of OPG’s and OGZ’s concession obligations to the President of the Energy Regulatory Office,
- the obligation to redeem energy efficiency certificates (so-called “white certificates”) or pay a substitution fee, in accordance with the new Energy Efficiency Law,
- new rules for maintaining natural gas stocks – obligations under the amended Act on Stocks, deadlines for their implementation and rules during the so-called transition period,
- clarification of the obligation to register and obtain the so-called ACER Code and report transaction data in accordance with the REMIT Regulation,
- obligation to present data and information upon written request from the ERO President,
Workshops are conducted in the form of practical case-studies, with the use of current reporting/declaration templates, and are individually tailored to the profile of the client holding an OPG or OGZ concession. We also offer to conduct workshops on OPG and OGZ concession obligations at the premises of your Company. As part of the training conducted, you will also receive a full summary of OPG and OGZ concession obligations, along with deadlines and how to comply with them.
The legal advisor conducting the workshop, Kacper Skalski, a partner in the law firm Raczynski Skalski & Partners Radcowie Prawni Adwokaci Sp.p., has many years of experience in providing services to companies in the energy sector, in particular to the largest electricity and natural gas trading companies.
