If you are a micro, small or medium-sized entrepreneur and you took advantage of the maximum electricity prices in the second half of 2024, remember that you are required to submit information to your energy supplier regarding the public aid you received under the so-called de minimis aid.
In our previous article, we informed you that the deadline for submitting the form was 28 February 2025, but due to the amendment to the Capacity Market Act and certain other acts, signed by the President, this deadline has been extended to 30 June 2025.
We would like to remind you that failure to comply with this obligation within the deadline will result in the need to return the aid received.
What does this mean in practice?
The entrepreneur will be obliged to return to the energy seller the difference between the maximum price and the price resulting from the concluded electricity sales contract, plus statutory interest calculated from the settlement date, i.e. from 1 July 2024. This refund will be made as part of the current electricity settlements.
Businesses can find the information form on their energy supplier’s website or on the government website available at the following link: https://www.gov.pl/web/klimat/zgloszenie-pomocy-publicznejde-minimis-przez-przedsiebiorcow-do-30-czerwca-2025? fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAYnJpZBEwbFdyVFJwMkpCM1Q1eWhjbAEeHp_jJ1ov4Zpd6z6jJY0A -lRVf5Gf9viNjpc4Daqeel_0Y0-tB6y0S4riRi0_aem_xNKOJRvi2NoQwO4eA7H8Cg
